A little 666 with your coffee, ma’am? According to the Daily Mail on April 1, that’s what a Louisiana teacher was served up at her local Starbucks. Megan Pinion was upset and took it to Facebook to show and tell what happened.
Pinion was handed two drinks, one with a pentagram done in caramel on top and one with the number 666 done the same way. Here’s what she said about it.
She said she couldn’t provide the name of the employee who served her because she was so “appalled,” she couldn’t bring herself to look at him. She hit Facebook when she got home.
We all know what happens on Facebook with these types of posts. It didn't take Starbucks long to find out and issue an apology through company spokesperson Tom Kuhn.
There has been no word yet on if the employee who served her still has a job or if Starbucks will change their current policy on foam art.
